Yet Another Gaming Tumblr: Extra-Life →
yetanothergamingshow: It sit here at 2:20 AM, just a little more than 6 hours of gaming left in the Extra-Life gaming marathon. I am surrounded by 16 other gamers. I hear a group silently curse; repeatedly getting nuked in Starcraft 2. I hear the loud exuberation of 4v4 Halo death matches. I for the most part have…

Yet Another Gaming Tumblr: Rocksmith →
yetanothergamingshow: For the last 10 years, I’ve wanted to learn how to play guitar. I even went as far to buy an acoustic and an electric guitar. Between, working, school, and geeking out, I’ve never made the time to sit down and really learn. Sure, I can pluck a few things, but nothing I would want to show off….

HTML5 vs Native Mobile Apps
When the Apple first released the App Store for the iPhone, the world went abuzz with apps.  Users of BlackBerry and Android were left outside for this party, only sometimes getting a taste of the app world.  Now, the world is different, I’ve given up my iPhone for a Droid X,  yet I still clutch my iPad.  Samsung released, what seems like a popular Android based tablet in the Galaxy....

Board Gaming
I’ve been a gamer pretty much my entire conscience life.  I’ve spent many hours infront of a screen of some sort with a controller in my hand.  About 14 years after the fact, I can still tell you about playing Final Fantasy VII, the sadness between Disc 1 and Disc 2, and my memory card corrupting - resulting in me being unable to finish the game.  None of this is negative, it is part...

Time to Heal
I am of course talking about the Vikings loss last Sunday. I am sitting starbucks enjoying a big cup of coffee and some magazines. There is a group of guys arguing about Farves last interception. It got to the point that they are now doing pen and napkin explanations. We lost, it sucks, but get over it.

2009 in Review - Music
This is a look back at some of my favorite music during the year 2009, but this doesn’t necessarily mean it was made in 2009. We Were Promised Jetpacks – These Four Walls :: This might be the first artist I’ve heard of threw twitter, a buddy posted it as a must listen.  Like an obedient pawn looking for new music, I followed the link and very quickly had fallen in love with this Scottish rock...
